Who We Are
All volunteers are required to wear face masks regardless of vaccination status.
OrderAhead enables people facing food insecurity to order food online, select a convenient time, and pick it up directly from a participating location. The program expands access to emergency food resources through a discreet and convenient click-and-collect grocery ordering system that reduces the physical and social barriers that often come with food assistance. OrderAhead will be more neighbor-centric by offering a choice in foods received, offering options about times when the services can be received, and providing specialized dietary options to support some nutritionally affected health conditions. By offering privacy, choice, and scheduling convenience, OrderAhead creates a dignified experience for people seeking food assistance.
What We Do
Volunteers are needed to help pack orders, greet neighbors, and load orders into their vehicles.

For safety reasons, only volunteers who have reserved a space may volunteer. Walk-ins will not be permitted. Please read these guidelines for volunteering with OrderAhead, including the highlights below:
- Wear close-toed shoes
- Dress for the weather as temperatures in the building reflect temperatures outside
- Be aware there will not be a place to store personal belongings
- We ask that any volunteer who does not feel well refrain from attending their volunteer shift.
We encourage you to consider your own health before deciding to volunteer.
