Everyone knows about Valentine's Day - in fact, it's one of the highest spending holidays! With all that spending, there's a whole lot of giving, right? Right! So what about giving back to our communities, to the world? There's so much love to give!
There are so many different ways to get involved and help out, and there are just as many people that could benefit from a little aid, a little love. So don't be afraid to get your friends and family involved! Get a team together! You can keep it close to home by just making a meal or some treats for a neighbor you might know to be in a rough patch, or extend a helping hand to communities around you! Below, I'll provide a few examples of how you can help spread the love!
WAYS TO HELP
- Donate to local food pantries (and/or to us, your local food bank)!
- Volunteer your time at local pantries, kitchens, shelters, and/or with us - the food bank!
- See about making meals for a community or little Valentines/gifts of most needed items!
- Raise and/or donate money to local charities, foundations, and/or drives!
- Raise awareness for/to these foundations and get your community involved!
