The Parking/Traffic volunteers will assist with directing traffic, neighbors, and volunteers for parking and distribution line up. The volunteers will help us set up cones, and steer everyone in the correct direction, depending on their level of attendance (staff, volunteer, neighbor). FRFB staff and volunteer leads will provide you with your assignment location once you arrive.
- ALL Volunteers MUST be registered through our website.
- ALL Volunteers MUST check in at the Volunteer Check-In table upon arrival
- All Volunteers MUST sign up for a shift in order to volunteer.
- Volunteers will be assigned to manage the distribution line, and ready the items for distribution. For safety reasons, only volunteers who have reserved a space may volunteer. Walk-ins will not be permitted. Please read the highlights below:
- Team responses are welcome! Please remember to have each person create a profile and response.
- Volunteers MUST be 13 years or older. Volunteers younger than 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Wear close-toed shoes
- We will be outside, please wear comfortable clothing (we recommend layers, a hat, and sunscreen due to the ever-changing weather conditions)
- Be aware there will not be a place to store personal belongings, please do not bring valuables
- We ask that any volunteer who does not feel well refrain from attending their volunteer shift
- Pantries will take place rain or shine
