Major Objectives
- Greeter - This position is responsible for answering calls from neighbors upon arrival, verifying their order number and vehicle description, notifying the volunteer handling order processing, and communicating to the neighbor when their order is ready.
- Greeter - This position is responsible for contacting neighbors who miss their assigned pick-up window to assess their location and possible arrival time.
- Greeter—The volunteer will be stationed at the front reception desk. In addition to answering calls from neighbors upon arrival, you will also answer calls from our main phone line and forward them to the appropriate parties, as well as assist any guests who arrive needing guidance.
- Greeter - They must respect the front desk space where they are working. You must ensure it is clean and neat prior to completing your shift. All items must be returned to their rightful place before departing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Volunteers are responsible for greeting program participants and fulfilling orders for pick-up.
- It is very important that the pick-up log is followed and that orders are filled correctly and promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old
- Standing for long periods of time and some lifting is involved with this position.
- Attention to detail is necessary to ensure all orders are packed properly.
Orientation and Training
Volunteers will receive on-the-job training for this position. Please wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes.

This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity that we like to keep filled, as it helps us in fulfilling each day's OrderAhead orders.
