480 - Food Sort

Donations come from various sources, including retail and wholesale food businesses, community organizations, local farms, the federal government, and individual donations.

Once received, processed, and sorted by volunteers, the food is distributed to neighbors through our community partners or our direct service programs.

Volunteers work to ensure food safety by inspecting the dates and conditions of donated goods. Opportunities include sorting and organizing frozen meat, produce, and dry goods Monday through Friday.
