Volunteers may help with prepping the soil for planting, weeding, distributing woodchips and mulch, watering the land, planting seeds, tilling, composting, removing debris, harvesting, gleaning (if needed), and other general farming duties as assigned.
* NO EXCESSIVE CELL PHONE USE (texting, playing games, phone calls) * Bring your own chairs and water * Physical labor is involved * Dress according to the weather.
Driving instructions:
Using a GPS: 1094 White Oak Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia, 22405. This will take you to the intersection of White Oak Road and First Street. From White Oak Road, turn onto First Street, and you will turn left into the property 500 yards down First Street when you see the Rappahannock Education Farm sign.
