We need 2 volunteers - MUST have basic knowledge of FRFB's volunteering, programs, practices, and guidelines.

Steps forward: A Stroke Rehabilitation Event is hosted by Encompass Health to support and increase awareness of stroke rehabilitation in our community. This special event is designed for stroke survivors, caregivers, families and community members. FRFB will be there to advocate for our neighbors who experience food insecurity. Volunteers will be familiar with FRFB processes and procedures to promote volunteering, donating, fundraising, hosting food drives, and raising awareness about hunger in our service area(s).
Details:
* Lead volunteer will be responsible for picking up the tabling supplies and equipment from FRFB prior to the event: 1 folding table, 2 metal chairs, 1 tent, tent weights, 1 FRFB tablecloth, and FRFB marketing material.
* All volunteers must be registered for the shift. If you can no longer attend, you must Unregister from the shift at least 24-48 hours prior to the start of the shift.
* Must arrive at Encompass Health (300 Park Hill Drive) no later than 9:00 a.m. to offload and set up.
* Both volunteers will be responsible for offloading equipment and supplies, set up, and breakdown.
* We encourage volunteers to network with other vendors to see how we (FRFB) may be able to partner with them in the future. This is also a great opportunity to network on your personal behalf as well.
* Youth volunteers 17 and under must have a signed Youth Consent Form on file with us before the event. If one hasn't been submitted, please email dthomas@fredfood.org to request a copy. Once completed, it must be emailed back as a scan or photo.
* This is an outdoor event - please dress according to the weather.
