ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST FIRST GET THEIR TEMPERATURE CHECKED PRIOR TO BEGINNING THEIR VOLUNTEERING!!
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, for a temporary amount of time, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank will be monitoring, and limiting the amount of volunteers allowed into the facility at this time. These shifts are broken up over an hour increments to ensure we do not have an over-abundance of volunteers compared to the space(s) we offer. If you plan to stay longer than an hour, please sign up accordingly for more than one shift slot.
This is a session on how to properly sort, weigh, and inspect temperature controlled food donations. You will be given a hands on training exercise on the proper procedures used to safely distribute this very sensitive product. After your training session, you will be able to sign up for shifts in the temperature controlled areas to inspect these food items.
