Volunteers needed to fold 40,000 bags & attach message cards for the
annual, National Postal Carriers "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive
The National Association of Letter Carriers hosts a food drive on the second Saturday in May every year. The letter carriers drop off a postcard and bag in neighbors' mailboxes ahead of time and then pick them up that Saturday. They certainly do the lion's share of the work, but we support this drive by folding the bags and attaching the cards.
* Must wear close-toed shoes
* No excessive phone use: texting, talking, or internet surfing - time will be deducted and you may be asked to leave for the day.
* Warehouse is not climate-controlled; dress according to the outside temperatures
