Earth Day is an annual global event that demonstrates support for environmental protection. Each year, communities around the world celebrate Earth and its natural resources by hosting celebrations and raising awareness. This year's local activities will be held at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg, VA.
Volunteers will assist with table setup and teardown, soliciting FRFB services and needs, interacting with both adults and children, raising awareness of our vision and goals, and our Healthy Pantry Initiative. This is a community engagement opportunity, so please only sign up if you're willing and able to perform those tasks.
* Dress neatly - according to the weather.
* Must be reasonably knowledgeable about FRFB programs and services
* No excessive cell phone use
* Able to engage adults and children
* Parking instructions and further information will be emailed closer to the date.
