Advocacy is the act of speaking on the behalf of or in support of another. Throughout the year we have opportunities to attend community events and advocate for our mission. These opportunities, including National Night Out, typically present themselves as table events where we bring materials (pamphlets, promotions, and giveaways) and have a chance to engage one on one with members of our region. This type of visibility and opportunity to increase awareness are extremely valuable.
